General Information

The main objective of the 1^stBulgarian National YWP Conference-Sofia 2012 is to provide a platform for sharing experiences of the students, young professionals and researchers in the water sector by the age under 35 years, by meeting their peers and presenting their work.

The future of the water related research and applied science depends on the YWP’s. With this conference we would like to promote the development and implementation of innovative and effective approaches to water management by which to show the YWP’s role in the Water sector development with all the challenges and opportunities which this vital sector offers.

This conference will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria on the 17-18 of May 2012. It is organized by the Bulgarian Water Association and the IWA – Young Water Professionals.

The conference is open to all the Bulgarian and international young water professionals within the first 10 years in the water industry..The official language of the conference is English

The conference will consist of papers and posters oral presentations and a technical tour. Papers on all aspects of the water sector are invited but the conference will have a special focus on the following:

• Water&Wastewater Treatment Technologies
• Water&Wastewater Infrastructure Construction and Management;
• Water Resources and River Basin Management;
• Case studies
